A Note on Venetum

Light changes.
A shadow moves across a wall.
A place disappears into memory.
A landscape is seen once, perhaps never again in quite the same way.
We carry these fragments - not to hold them still, but to remember how they moved...
-
An old man once said:
“Someone stole our time. I don’t know who, but it happened.”
He was right. Somewhere along the way, speed became a virtue and stillness became a luxury. We started measuring days in tasks completed, not moments lived.
In a world that moves too fast, we need a rediscovery of slowness -
with indulgence at its heart. There is, after all, no virtue in rushing.
